THE PLATFORM

Technology is only valuable if it improves the service

At Aqualia, the value of technology is measured by the value it creates for our customers. That is why aqualiaLive brings together, on a single platform, all the tools needed to manage water efficiently, sustainably and transparently, from the very first day of the contract.

100%

independent and integrated modules that share data continuously

Real time

from sensor to decision, with no delays
ONE PLATFORM, MANY CAPABILITIES

Modules that work together, not in isolation

Each module handles a specific aspect of management, but they all share the same data in real time. It is this interconnection that transforms a wealth of information into useful decisions for the service.

GEO · Cartography. A living map of the entire network

The geographical information system pinpoints the location of every pipe, valve and meter, and simulates how the network behaves at any time of the year. In the event of a leak, it identifies the shut-off point that affects the fewest residents.

NOW · Assets and maintenance. Look after every piece of infrastructure

Manage preventive and predictive maintenance of plants, tanks and networks using an app that directs fieldwork for operators. Fewer breakdowns and faster on-site responses.

aWA · Water Analytics. Turning data into knowledge

The water cycle analytics platform analyses consumption, flow rates and pressures to anticipate problems before they occur. It detects leaks and water losses at an early stage.

IoT · Remote Control / SCADA. Sensors that monitor around the clock

Thousands of flow, pressure, level and quality signals are received in real time from networks and installations, integrating systems from any manufacturer. Full control of the installations without the need to travel.

Aqualiacontact · Customer service. Putting the public at the heart of what we do

Mobile app, virtual office, telephone, website and social media: any enquiry, via any channel, receives the same response and a single view of the customer. Simple and secure transactions via your mobile.

AqualiaBI · Dashboards. Information you can grasp at a glance

It transforms all technical and commercial information into clear indicators for monitoring and overseeing the service at all times. The local council can view the actual status of the service in real time.

IOC · Operations Centre. A command centre that is always on the alert

Fourteen centres across Spain integrate all the platforms and coordinate the response to incidents and potential leaks. Rapid, coordinated decisions based on all available information.

LAB · Water quality. Safe water, always

It constantly monitors water quality at sampling points and throughout the treatment processes, in accordance with health and safety plans. Guaranteeing safe water from every tap.

BIM · Digital twins. Digital replicas of reality

Using lasers, drones and 3D scans, digital copies of plants and networks are created so that they can be designed, operated and planned on screen. Operate and plan ahead without risk or the need to travel.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

AI: the driving force behind aqualiaLive

Artificial intelligence and machine learning are not just an add-on: they are the engine that multiplies the platform’s capabilities. They learn from millions of data points on water to move beyond simply observing what is happening to anticipating it and recommending what to do.

Early detection of leaks

The models learn how each section of the network behaves and detect a leak based on minute variations in flow, long before it becomes visible.

Smart consumption alerts

They identify unusual usage patterns: a possible leak in the home, excessive consumption or a lack of usage, which may indicate that someone is dependent on others.

Predictive digital twins

They forecast the operation of plants and networks and, using virtual sensors, predict faults and variables that are difficult to measure for the purposes of predictive maintenance.

Satellite remote sensing

It analyses satellite imagery to detect undeclared water use and classify land cover, thereby improving drainage and sanitation planning.

Smart sewerage system

It integrates radar rainfall data and data from the AEMET to improve the operation of the network, prevent overflows and avoid discharges into the environment during storm events.

Assistive technology and computer vision

A virtual assistant guides operators step by step, a chatbot answers questions about the network directly on the map, and smart cameras monitor water quality contactlessly.

THE TECHNOLOGY BEHIND IT

A solid foundation for smart management

AqualiaLive is built on a modern, open and secure architecture, capable of processing huge volumes of data and scaling to meet the needs of each service.

Big Data

A single database brings together all the information and reduces response times.

Cloud Computing

The cloud allows computing power to be scaled up or down as required at any given time.

AI and Machine Learning

Algorithms that learn from data and provide intelligence to other applications.

IoT and Remote Control

Sensors and remote stations that transmit data in real time from across the network.

Interoperability

Open standards (NGSI-LD, UNE 178104) to integrate any manufacturer or system.

Cybersecurity

A strategic pillar of the platform, aligned with the ENS, NIS2, the GDPR and ISO 27001 standards.
